We are pleased to let you know that this Summer@Rensselaer website has been updated with Summer Session 2013 information.
Summer@Rensselaer is all about continued growth and new program offerings. Target audiences for summer include Rensselaer undergraduate and graduate students, prospective and visiting undergraduate and graduate students, alumni and their families, adults and working professionals, elementary, middle, and high school students, and external organizations.
Programs available in the summer include credit courses, faculty-led study abroad, research opportunities, academic short courses, custom programs, enrichment programs, sports camps and conference services.
The Summer@Rensselaer Website provides information on specific course and program offerings, services provided to support your summer experience, and links to information and other summer resources across campus. The expanded summer program offerings are supported through Academic Outreach Programs within the Undergraduate and Graduate portfolios.
COLLEGE STUDENTS
Summer Session 2013 Credit Courses: Registration is now open! Students may register for classes or find the courses they want on the Student Information System or by visiting the Summer credit courses section of this website.
Rensselaer offers three different summer sessions. The dates
of each session are listed below:
Summer Session I - May 20 - August 9, 2013.
Summer Session II - May 20 – June 28, 2013.
Summer Session III - July 1 - August 9, 2013.
Rensselaer matriculated undergraduate students have a significantly reduced per credit hour tuition charge in the summer. The Rensselaer matriculated undergraduate per credit hour rate for summer 2013 is $880.00. The undergraduate per credit hour rate for all other audiences is $1,805.00.
ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Residential Enrichment Programs: Summer residential enrichment programs are held on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York and available for high school students. Programs are designed and taught by Rensselaer faculty members. Activities include daily on-campus preparation, lab experience, tours, visits with faculty and admissions counselors, hands-on projects, and interactions with current undergraduate and graduate students.
