There is no campus housing for this program
One-week: Monday-Friday
Day Session: 9:00am-5:00pm
Drop off: 8:30-9:00am
Pick up: 5:00-5:30pm
The TMS Foundation and the TMS Hudson-Mohawk Chapter have joined forces with the ASM Eastern New York (Albany) Chapter and ASM Materials Education Foundation to offer a jointly sponsored and funded ASM Materials Camp® for students.

Program Details
Students involved in math, science, and industrial technology classes who are highly motivated, inquisitive learners with math and science aptitude and entering the 11th and 12th grade of high school in the fall are encouraged to apply. The Camp features a full-week of utilizing hands-on principals of applied math, physics, and chemistry.
A unique, team-based, intensive problem solving science experience under the direction of a distinguished world-class faculty combine demonstration and field trips to actively explore materials science and engineering principles.
In 2005, the first "Capital District ASM Materials Camp" was held on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute June 29 through July 2, featuring support, lab tours, and the active participation of materials scientists from the world-class GE research facility in Niskayuna, New York.
Application Information
Cost: Students receive FREE meals, tuition, entertainment, and knowledge.
Application Deadline: Students are encouraged to apply on or before March 31, 2009. Once a decision has been made on applicants, families will be contacted. Upon acceptance to the program the below accepted student forms will be required in order to participate and are due two weeks prior to the start of the program. Accepted students will receive an acceptance letter and the below forms in the mail. These forms need to be completed are are due two weeks prior to the start of the program.

Note for Summer program participants Medication Sheet Form and Self Medication Waiver: For children who do not have any prescriptions the parent and doctor should sign the Medication sheet for the three over the counter medications listed so they can be administered by the Health Services Office. If your son/daughter does not have any medications to self administer then the Self Medication Form is not applicable.
Transportation: All students must furnish their own transportation to and from campus.
