Rensselaer offers three different summer sessions*. The dates of each session are listed below:
- Summer Session I - May 20 - August 9, 2013
- Summer Session II - May 20 - June 28, 2013
- Summer Session III - July 1 - August 9, 2013

Rensselaer offers summer credit courses from all five schools – Architecture, Engineering, Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, the Lally School of Management and Technology, and Science. Discuss with your adviser how Summer@Rensselaer can fit into your plan of study to “Catch Up, Keep Up, and Get Ahead!”
How to Register
HOW TO REGISTER Current Rensselaer students register for summer in the same way as they do for fall and spring. All eligible, continuing Rensselaer students will be notified by e-mail as to when they can begin summer registration. Register for classes or find the courses you want on the Student Information System on the Rensselaer Website.
HOW TO REGISTER Prospective, New, and Visiting Students should apply and be admitted to Rensselaer before they may register. Students interested in participation in Rensselaer degree programs should apply for matriculated status. Students interested in taking courses only should apply for non-matriculated status. For updated course descriptions, visit the online Rensselaer catalog. The sections are alphabetized according to the four-letter department name. Applications should be completed at least two weeks prior to registration. Click here for application information

The Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer is a professional degree fully accredited by the National Architectural Accreditation Board. HASS academic programs reflect the principles of an education steeped in the traditions of critical thinking associated with the arts, humanities, and social sciences applied to "the common purposes of life" and a focus on tackling the real-world challenges of the 21st century.
The School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) is composed of five departments;
