CALLING ALL COLLEGE STUDENTS!! Pair a class with a job! Summer job openings are available from many offices around campus.
Students are also encouraged to contact the Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) for additional information. The CCPD has a web site for college students to start a search for internships and summer employment and check out the CCPD's online presentation: "Need Money? Be courteous and professional with all individuals you interact with in your quest to find employment. We encourage you to meet with a Career Counselor in the CCPD to assist you in developing strong job search skills and to help create quality documents (resume, cover letters, CV's, etc) to assist you in your search.

THESE POSITIONS HAVE BEEN FILLED! Summer@Rensselaer- Academic Outreach Programs is looking for RESIDENT COUNSELORS! ** WEEKLY PAY, plus ROOM AND BOARD**
The Office of Academic Outreach is looking for Resident Counselors! Counselors will assist, guide, and provide logistical support for high school students who are participating in Summer@Rensselaer’s residential enrichment programs. Resident Counselors will serve as positive role models, conduct themselves professionally, and be a part of the fun! Counselors will be paid weekly, plus room and board. Evening and some weekends are required. Academic field trips, as well as any weekend excursions are included in the position. Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm, counselors have free time (as camp participants are with their instructors).

Rensselaer’s Office of Academic Outreach currently has part-time student positions open for Summer 2014. Candidates will provide logistical support for the office, while demonstrating professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and customer service. Those with prior office experience preferred, but is not required. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required for this position.
• Receive incoming phone calls
• Process incoming mail; distribute accordingly
• Assist in processing registration materials for enrichment programs
• Process Deposit Transmittal Forms
• Maintain neat files
• Flexibility on weekends, though not required, is preferred to assist with check-in for residential enrichment programs on Sundays.
• Flexibility to assist with drop-ff and pick-up for daily enrichment programs and sports camps
• Deliveries to departments on campus
• Office coverage
• Assist with payments, etc.
• Perform logistical and administrative support and assist as needed
