Primarily Undergraduate Institutions
(PUI)
Partnership Program The PUI program is a unique opportunity
for undergraduate scientists and engineers to conduct research
at Rensselaer and / or our Partner Institutions during the
summer. Students receive housing and a competitive stipend
during this ten week program. In some cases students come back
for a second summer. The foundation of PUI is a set of strong
research collaborations between faculty at Rensselaer,
Morehouse, Mount Holyoke, Spelman, Smith, and Williams. We hope
to include University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez this coming
summer as well. Through this foundation progress is made in
various research projects that build on each other year after
year. The PUI program is part of the Nanoscale Science and
Engineering Center for Directed Assembly of Nanostructures.
Student participation is by invitation only Visit
