International Scholars Program and Credit Courses at the Hartford Campus
The International Scholars Program (ISP) is a global learning experience in Europe and Asia, where students will gain unique, real-world perspectives and boost their critical thinking skills. Students will also be earning credits towards their master’s degree. Credits earned from ISP can be used towards Rensselaer’s M.S. Management, MBA, and multiple M.S. engineering degrees. It is designed for recent college graduates and young working professionals who are looking for that competitive edge to jump-start their career and to get the jobs best suited to their skills and credentials.
The ten-week summer learning experience will immerse students in the cultures, social environments, and day-to-day living experiences of Rome and Shanghai, with courses centered around those cities’ business and economic societies. Students of the program will meet and be taught by world leaders in industry and visit major corporations in both cities. They will also be part of a project team, gaining first-hand understanding of global business and advanced technology.
