International Scholars Program
The International Scholars Program is a one-year accelerated master’s degree program which includes a 10-week summer semester abroad. It is designed for recent college graduates and young working professionals who are looking for that competitive edge to jump-start their career and to get the jobs best suited to their skills and credentials.
The Rensselaer International Scholar will earn a master’s degree in Management, with global emphasis on trade, innovation, security, and competiveness. Forty percent of the master’s degree will be completed through the ten-week summer semester abroad, which will immerse students in the cultures, social environments, and day-to-day living experiences of Rome and Shanghai, as well as provide an intense learning experience centered around those cities’ business and economic societies. Students of the program will meet and be taught by world leaders in industry and visit major corporations in both cities. Also, they will be part of a project team, gaining first-hand understanding of global business and advanced technology.
