RPI Sports Camps

Rensselaer invites pre-college age students to attend a RPI Sports Camp, Directed by RPI Coaches, this summer to stimulate their minds and exercise their bodies and experience the exciting state of the art sports facilities that Rensselaer has to offer.

RPI Sports Camps - Directed by RPI Coaches

The following Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute sports Camps will be offered for elementary, middle and high school students in 2013. Additional sports programs may be added

• RPI All Sports Camp
  

  Instruction will be coordinated by Head Track & Field Coach Colin Tory and assisted by other RPI coaches and RPI student athletes.

  Session I: July 8-12
  Session II: July 15-19
  Session III: July 22-26
  Session IV: July 29-August 2
  Session V: August 5-9
  Session VI: August 12-16

  RPI All Sports Camp is designed for girls and boys entering grades 1 through 8 in the fall.

• RPI Strength & Conditioning Program
  

  Directed by Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Kyle Sottung, and other Strength and Conditioning staff.

• RPI Baseball Camp
  

  Directed by RPI Assistant baseball coach Kyle Meyer and other RPI Baseball coaches and student athletes.

  One Week Day Session - Ages 8-12
  Monday July 15 - Friday July 19, 2013

• RPI Hockey Camps
  

  Directed by RPI Head Hockey Coach Seth Appert.

  Youth Hockey Development Camp: Monday, August 19 to Friday, August 23, 2013
  One Week Day Session - Ages 6-13 years

  High School Hockey Exposure Camp: Thursday, August 15 to Sunday, August 18, 2013
  Four (4) Late Afternoon Evening Sessions - High School Ages

• RPI Women's Hockey Week
  

  RPI Head Hockey Coach John Burke and Assistant Coach Brent Hill offer three distinct hockey camps.

  1. High Performance Camp (High School Ages, Residential): Sunday August 4-Tuesday August 6, 2013
  2. Youth Hockey Development Camps, 3 Day Skills Clinic - Ages 6-13 years: Wednesday August 7-Friday 9, 2013
  3. Adult Women's Recreational Camp: Friday August 9-Sunday 11, 2013

• Other Sports Camps Hosted at RPI
  

  Additional camps are available as outside groups use the RPI Athletic facilities. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Hockey Camp will be at RPI as an overnight camp July 30-August 3, 2013.

• Past Programs Offered - RPI Football Camp
  

  There have been some changes to the summer RPI Football Camp. There will not be a Fundamental Skills Camp: Monday, June 25 to Thursday, June 28, 2012 for grades 3-8 and 9-12. Instead youth players in grades 3-8 will be invited to campus this fall for RPI Football Youth Training Day. High school players, grades 9-12, will be invited to a 7-ON-7 shootout in June.

• Past Programs Offered - RPI Women's Basketball Camp
  

  The RPI Women's Basketball High School JV and Varsity Team Camp has been cancelled for Summer 2013. Please check back for information regarding fall clinics.

• Past Programs Offered - RPI Track & Field Camp
  

  RPI Head Coach Colin Tory offers Track & Field camps at various times of the year.
